I grew up in rural Virginia, raised on a farm in Buckingham County. After leaving for college and exploration, I returned to Farmville where I live with my husband and two children. My life is centered around my family (the whole big bunch of them), giving back to my community, grounding myself outdoors, good food, and good friends.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, licensed by the state of VA. I have been in the mental health field for over 15 years in a variety of settings and worked with diverse populations.
I hold a strong belief that humans are complex and neurodiverse. This means that there is not one single path forward, or one single way of being. I am dedicated to helping my clients find the path that feels best to them, while also working with them to identify unhealthy patterns. My ultimate goal is to guide each individual to a better understanding and acceptance of themselves.

I create an inclusive and empathetic environment, utilizing various therapeutic techniques tailored to individual needs. My commitment extends to supporting those facing systemic oppression and identity challenges, ensuring every voice is heard and validated.
I am a dedicated intern counselor-in-training at Longwood University with significant achievements, including conference presentations, a Graduate Assistantship, and hands-on counseling experience under clinical supervision by Annie Ramsay, LPC.
I’m a Brazilian-American who studied abroad in Europe during college in 2014 and immigrated to the United States in 2016. I live with my husband on a Virginia farmette, and we have dogs, cats, goats, and chickens. We love traveling, camping, hiking, and spending time with friends and family.
